Welcome to Historic Covington Downtown, proudly known as Tennessee’s Sweet Spot. Nestled in West Tennessee, our community offers the perfect mix of small-town charm and big opportunities. Home to nationally loved brands like Unilever and Charms, Covington is also filled with unique local gems — from 19 retail shops and 12 eateries to a vibrant historic theater, beautiful parks, and a thriving arts scene. Whether you’re here for a family outing, a girlfriend’s getaway, or simply to enjoy an evening downtown, Covington has something special for everyone.

In 2024, Covington Main Street became a designated Tennessee Main Street program and accredited with the Main Street America program. Through the Main Street America's Four Point Approach model, the Covington Main Street program strives to promote Covington's charming, historic downtown as a place you want to visit.
